Earthquake

私が今朝電車に乗っているときに地震がありました。
When I got on a train this morning, there was an earthquake.

私が乗っていた電車は、地震で故障した箇所が無いか点検した後に走り出しました。
The train which I got on started running after having checked it by an earthquake whether there was not an inoperative point.

しかし、電車が何時間も止まってしまったところもありました。
However, there was the place that a train stopped for hours.

震度5の地震だったようです。
The intensity of the earthquake was five on the japanese scale.

とても大きな地震だったので、私の家族は家の外に避難したようです。
Because it was a too big earthquake my family seems to have taken refuge outside a house.

でも、家族には怪我が無く、家にも被害はありませんでした。
But a family did not have an injury, and there was not the damage in a house either.

よかった。＾＾
I felt relieved.＾＾

私の部屋では地震でいくつかの物が床に落ちていました。
In my room, somethings fell into a floor by an earthquake.

かなり強い地震だったようですね。
It seems to have been a considerably strong earthquake.

でも地震で壊れたものはありませんでした。
But there was not the thing broken by an earthquake.

しかし、頭の上から物が落ちてくるのは危険ですね。。。
However, If a thing fell from the top of a head, I am dangerous...

わたしは部屋の模様替えをしなくてはいけませんね。
I must redecorate a room.

地震で怪我をしないように^^;
Be not hurt by an earthquake^^;
